The SafetySense Approach to Privacy
Local-first by design. SafetySense analyzes video on your on‑premise computer (the “hub”) to help detect potential falls and other events. By default, video is processed locally and not uploaded unless you enable optional cloud features. We do not sell personal information.
What We Collect
- Account & contact: name, email, phone numbers of users and designated caregivers; service location.
- Setup & device: camera identifiers, room names, device health (online/offline, firmware), and diagnostics needed to run the Service.
- Events & alerts: timestamps, room/location labels, alert types (e.g., “possible fall”), delivery status, acknowledgements. If cloud review is enabled
- Support: messages to support and feedback you provide.
- Website/App analytics: standard logs, device/browser info, cookies or similar to maintain sessions and improve the product.
- Payments: limited billing metadata via our PCI‑compliant provider (we do not store full card numbers).
